Finding Your Ministry

Thank you for your interest in getting connected at Woodland. What is serving?  It’s your ministry, your place in the church that only you can fill.  Is your passion in music, helping people feel welcomed, or in teaching children about Christ?  Whatever it is, we want to help you find a place to serve. Below are the links that will give you descriptions of areas where you can get involved.  Check out these service opportunities and then click on “serve here” for the area that you would like to volunteer. It takes 100’s of volunteers to make Woodland happen every week.  Join a ministry team and see how God can use you to make a difference. Guest Services- Information desk, Greeters, Ushers, Membership Central counselors, Parking greeters, Bookstore volunteers

LifeGroup Team -  Life Group leaders and hosts 

Support Ministries - Cancer Ministry,   Divorce Care,  Prayer Ministry  - We need leaders to facilitate groups, coaches and outreach volunteers, prayer warriors

Student Ministry - Amplify (high school students)/ Blind (middle school students)-  We need small group leaders, crowd control, leaders for vocal, drama, tech and dance teams

Kidtropolis (K-5th grade)- (KFC, AWANA, CIA) check-in, small group leaders, crowd control 

Preschool (infants-4 yr olds)– nursery workers, preschool teachers, teacher assistants

Worship Arts Team - choir, band, praise team, youth band, drama, dance, art, computer graphics operator, camera operator, video director, video editor, lighting director, audio engineer, audio assistant, stage manager, stagehand, DVD duplicator 

Recreation Team - Summer Camps, UPWARD-soccer, basketball, cheerleading coaches and referees
